Instructions for dropping car off after hours in calais non existent. No sign to a secure car park. In fact you just leave the car in the short term in front of the p and o ferries building. Nightmare to get transport to calais frethun for eurostar. Allow 40 mins to order cab and get there. Enterprise could help by pointing this out. Advise if using eurostar to start journey in France then go avis as they are at railway station. Wanted lhd car but if you are happy driving rhd then europcar let you rent in uk and go through tunnel. Another point; sent email asking if could pick up car in paris and drop off in Calais. No response but you can if you contact enterprise in gare du nord directly. Overall, enterprise work well in usa but useless in France!

Excellent customer service! Unlike typical rental car counters, they stepped up and stayed open for our reservation when they didn't have to. Long story short, we would have been stranded at the Calais ferry terminal overnight if they hadn't gone the extra mile like they did. We even got a bit larger car than we thought - NICE!
